Craniosacral Biodynamics
Harmonising body and mind through stillness, attentive listening and respect for each person’s process.
What is craniosacral biodynamics?
Craniosacral biodynamics is a form of body work based on stillness, attentive listening and deep respect for the process that each person lives in the present moment. It is an invitation to come into contact with the subtle, natural movements that exist in the human body, allowing them to express and regulate themselves on their own.
It works mainly with the structures running from the skull to the sacrum, the whole spine and the central nervous system —because of their connection to the whole organism. With a very gentle touch, following the shapes of the tissues toward a central line of restoration, it accompanies the tensions and memories the body has stored: blows, accidents, life situations and emotional traumas that, over time, remain stored and affect the overall balance. It is a technique suitable for all ages, from babies to the elderly.
A way of being, not of doing
In a session, the attitude is not about «doing something to the other», but about creating a space of trust and listening. The practitioner stands in presence, receives without judgement and without the intention of changing anything. From that place of stillness the body is helped to find, on its own, its paths of adjustment and balance.
Movement, life and trust
Something fundamental in biodynamics is the idea that everything is in movement, even in apparent inner silence. The work consists of accompanying this natural movement, trusting the implicit wisdom of the organism to seek balance. It does not look for specific results: each person is accompanied where they are, allowing what is necessary to emerge in its own rhythm and form.
Beyond words
There is no need to understand or name everything that happens during a session. Sometimes it is enough to feel held, in a space of attention and calm, to allow the body to release tensions, emotions or patterns that may have become trapped. Craniosacral biodynamics does not address only physical symptoms, but seeks a deeper reconnection with the body’s natural ability to heal and reorganise.
Benefits
Sessions can encourage calm, lightness and a wider breath. Many people feel the body let go of tensions, move with greater fluidity and recover a softer tone, which translates into clarity, rest and a sense of body ease. It is a non-invasive accompaniment focused on listening and respect for each person’s process. This work is complementary; each experience is unique and evolves at its own pace.
Who it may suit
People looking for a gentle path of regulation and rest; who want to release stored tensions and reconnect with a wider inner breath and movement; or who want a safe, respectful space to listen to themselves without haste.

We are living organisms interacting with the environment from our own perspective, experiencing the line of life.

The body has an immense ability to overcome the life situations and impacts we face daily. For a traumatic situation to happen, a series of conditions have to coincide for it to impact the body and remain as memory, repeating over time beyond the situation in which it occurred.

The nervous system is the central axis connecting all aspects of our being. Through the senses we perceive what happens both inside and outside the body. This system exchanges information to ensure the proper functioning of the musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, digestive, visceral, hormonal, emotional and experiential systems.

Our body operates as a system that distributes functions from head to feet as a coordinated tissue, carrying out its tasks autonomously and in continuous movement. What happens in one part of the body affects the whole.

The body, with its muscles, skeleton and organs, constantly seeks balance. In movement it responds to gravity, looking for a harmony that keeps us standing. This embryonic response, which always tries to adjust and balance with gravity, is fundamental to the proper functioning of the organism.

With Craniosacral Biodynamics, through gentle contact, we accompany all the systems so they find their power. In this way the organism reorganises as coherently as possible during the session and in the following days. We accompany the organic movement until it comes to rest.
